Swagelok® FK Fittings Essentials Training

The "Medium-Pressure Swagelok FK Series Fittings" course provides an in-depth understanding of the design characteristics and proper installation techniques for FK series fittings. Participants will learn how to select suitable medium-pressure tubing, prepare it for installation, and correctly install the fittings using various methods, including installation by turns and with a hydraulic swaging unit. The course covers essential criteria, variables, and considerations for safely using these fittings in medium-pressure gas and liquid systems. Additionally, participants will learn to identify and avoid common installation errors. Assessment includes both theoretical and practical components, with participants required to pass a theoretical exam and demonstrate practical skills, including performing proper fitting procedures, using a gap inspection gauge tool for visual inspection, and reassembling connections.
